The Royal Military Academy
Cadets, on behalf of myself and your instructors, welcome to the historic buildings of the R.M.A. Here you will learn the correct tactical use of infantry cavalry and artillery so that you may take your place at the head of your men in our struggle against the forces of revolution and the usurper Buonaparte. You will also have access to the Ensign Training school course, tactical manuals, and essential army information. Good luck to you all. God save the King! A. Wellesley

All new cadets are reminded that they should regard the following as a part of their training.
1. At the beginning of training Ensigns should ensure that they visit the RMA board, introduce themselves to the assembled company and purchase drinks for all superior officers. Then purchase more drinks......
2. On completion of your training HQ requires that you should post a short description of your game on the RMA board. This need not be long, but should include the basic course of your battle and any lessons learned. Buy your training officer a drink - he probably needs it.....

Best Shot Medal Awards
Every month your instructors have the difficult job of deciding which of our newly graduated officers has shown great valour during manoeuvers in the face of the enemy, conducted themselves with honour in the mess, and has shown willingness to take part in discussions both in the mess and the Rhine Tavern.
Various factors in battle can catch your instructor's eye, from dashing tactical flair to dogged determination in the face of overwhelming odds. Even the ability to simply learn and display a few basic techniques can be enough.
But Gentlemen, please note that being the only graduate in any month does NOT automatically guarantee being bestowed with this honour unless you had shown as many of the above qualities as possible.
